apple shortcut - obsidian daily note

This is a simple shortcut that will ask for some content and push it into the bottom of your daily note. If the daily note doesn't exist it will create it.

Note: You will need to install the advanced-uri plugin for this to work. It is available from the community plugins section inside obsidian settings.

This is an easy one to build, once you get to grips with the advanced-uri structure. When complete it should look like this...

You will need to change the 'vault name' part to your own, it won't know where to put the text otherwise, opening obsidian but adding nothing.

You can download the shortcut, obviously supplied without support, warranty etc. etc.

Hope this helps someone, took me a while to work it out. The advanced-uri plugin adds quite an extra bit of complexity if you need it, for example placing the text underneath a certain heading - handy if you use lots of structure in your daily note e.g. tasks, journal questions etc.
